Set in the scenic hills of Lonavala at Radisson Blu, their wedding unfolded as a beautiful blend of familiarity, celebration, and heartfelt moments.
Some love stories are written in the stars.
Divya and Shubham’s was written in the corridors of their own building.
With their mothers being close friends, their worlds were always intertwined. What began as chance encounters soon turned into a friendship filled with laughter, teasing, and endless banter. Over time, that familiarity blossomed into a love that felt natural, effortless, and deeply rooted.
Theirs is the kind of relationship where humour is a love language – where stolen glances are followed by playful jabs, and every moment feels light yet meaningful.
The Mamera: Tradition, Reimagined
The wedding festivities opened with a vibrant Mamera, a ceremony that beautifully honours the groom’s maternal family in Marwadi culture. But this was no ordinary ritual.
In a striking blend of heritage and theatricality, each mama made a grand, larger-than-life entry through a bespoke door prop. Designed like a regal gateway, the structure would dramatically open with every announcement, revealing each entrant like a scene from a royal procession.
Accompanied by high-energy music, celebratory beats, and a shower of flowers and confetti, the ceremony transformed into a visual spectacle. The traditional battisi unfolded alongside performances and moments of laughter, making it as entertaining as it was emotional.
A Seamless Welcome: Where Hospitality Became an Experience
From the moment guests arrived, Shubhtithi Weddings set the tone with a thoughtfully curated welcome complete with dhol, tutari, aarti, and hampers that felt both warm and grand.
Sangeet: A Night of Lights, Music & Unfiltered Joy
As the sun dipped over Radisson Blu, Lonavala, the celebrations transitioned into a high-energy Sangeet night.
Set against a glamorous backdrop, the evening unfolded around a stage that felt nothing short of cinematic, setting the tone for a night full of energy and emotion. Divya and Shubham made their much-awaited entry amid flickering lights and roaring applause, setting the tone for a night that was electric.
The performances were deeply personal, choreographed with precision yet brimming with emotion. From family dances to the couple’s own moments in the spotlight, every act told a story.
Haldi : Krishna Nagri Vibe
The next day was Haldi, and this one had a very clear theme, Krishna Nagri.
The setup was colourful and very festive, with gajra stalls, Matki phod just like Krishna Nagri and shawls with a theme touch, which added a nice traditional touch without overcomplicating it. At Shubhtithi Weddings, the Krishna Nagri Haldi was designed to feel immersive yet effortless, bringing together gajra stalls, matki elements, and playful details that guests could truly engage with. Divya and Shubham’s entry with the colour bombs worked really well here. It didn’t feel staged, just very organic, with everyone already in the mood.
And after that, it was exactly how a haldi should be – a bit messy, a lot of fun, and no one really holding back.
The Baraat & Varmala: Grandeur Meets Emotion
As evening approached, the energy shifted to anticipation. Shubham’s baraat was nothing short of spectacular, complete with dhol beats and high-energy dancing.
The varmala that followed was equally enchanting. Shubham then made a solo entry, which worked really well with the build-up from the baraat. Divya’s entry was more subtle. She walked in with her father and uncle, keeping it simple and elegant, and was already at the stage where everything came together. As they exchanged varmala amidst cheers and celebration, it marked the perfect union of two worlds that had always been close.
Shubhtithi Weddings ensured the energy flowed seamlessly from the baraat to the varmala, bringing together high-energy moments with emotionally grounded details.
Pheras: Where It All Became Eternal
As the night deepened, the celebrations softened into something more intimate. Under a serene setup, with delicate details and traditional elements, Divya and Shubham took their pheras, the sacred vows that sealed their journey together.
In that moment, away from the spectacle, it was just them, the laughter, the history, the shared childhood, and the love that grew quietly over the years. With Shubhtithi Weddings quietly orchestrating the details, the pheras were kept simple, intimate, and deeply meaningful.
A Wedding That Felt Like Home
Divya and Shubham’s wedding wasn’t just about scale or grandeur; it was about personality. It was in the playful entries, the thoughtful details, the seamless flow of events, and the balance between tradition and individuality. Every moment reflected who they are – fun, warm, and deeply connected.
From being neighbours to becoming partners for life, their story is a reminder that sometimes, the greatest love stories are the ones that begin closest to home. At Shubhtithi Weddings, every element came together in a way that felt effortless, yet was thoughtfully crafted to reflect the couple’s story.
