Some
love stories arrive with a little warning – quiet, unexpected, and yet
absolutely certain. Tanya and Yash met through an arranged match. She had her
principles; he had his patience. What began with cautious conversation soon
blossomed into comfort. Even when Tanya briefly stepped away from the idea,
something unspoken kept pulling them back. The next morning, their chats
resumed like nothing ever changed – and from that point on, nothing did.
At ShubhTithi Weddings, we had the joy of transforming their beautiful journey into a four-part celebration, each event thoughtfully rooted in who they are and where they come from.
Mumbai Mahanagari Mehendi Carnival : The City That Made Her, The Celebration That Became Her

From a classic DDLJ-style train photo backdrop to a live caricature artist sketching couples on the spot, the space was bubbling with energy. Streetside favorites like sev puri and bhel puri were served fresh, while an astrologer’s corner sparked laughter and intrigue.

A chikki stall, paying homage to Lonavala, added a sweet and local touch. Bandhani purses served as thoughtful keepsakes, while anchor-led games kept the crowd cheering and on their toes. It was Mumbai in the hills, full of soul and sparkle.

Sangeet : Blockbusters & Backstage Love

The sangeet was a night of powerhouse performances and unscripted joy. Tanya and Yash lit up the stage with chemistry, while family and friends delivered unforgettable dance moments. Every beat of the music carried love, and every twirl was a tribute to the people who had watched this story unfold.

Haldi: Where Nani Ka Ghar Meets South India

The next morning began on a note of warmth and tradition. Drawing from Yash’s Hyderabad heritage and the sentimental charm of a grandmother’s home, we designed the haldi with a South Indian twist and the comforting touch of “Nani ka Ghar.”

Guests were greeted with chandan tilaks and fragrant gajras. The space felt like a time capsule – familiar, festive, and full of love. Everyone dressed in coordinated traditional South Indian attire: men in white-and-gold mundu, women in classic sarees of the same hue.

True to the theme, a vintage cart poured hot, foamy filter kaapi while a live cycle-idli station dished out warm, fluffy delights. Banana chips and an array of South Indian snacks were served on fresh banana leaves, adding authenticity and nostalgic joy to the meal.

The Wedding – Regal, Rooted, Radiant

The wedding unfolded with grandeur and grace. Yash’s baraat made a royal arrival, complete with dhols, dancing, and endless cheer. Tanya, radiant in her bridal attire, made her way to the mandap as bells chimed softly in the breeze.

The varmala moment was straight out of a dream – surrounded by loved ones, gentle showers of petals rained down from hand-held flower cones, adding both magic and meaning to the moment. The pheras were held under a gorgeously adorned mandap, rich with florals and symbolism.

To make the ceremony both comfortable and charming, customized phera fans were handed out to guests, a thoughtful detail that added elegance while keeping everyone cool and present in the moment. Bells strung along the mandap rang softly during the rituals, blending tradition with sensory beauty.

As the rituals came to a close, the celebrations transitioned seamlessly into an elegant reception, complete with heartfelt toasts, incredible food, and dance floors filled with joy.
